We begin our journey from a hotel in Amman. We drive south the ancient city of Petra, which featured prominently in an Indiana Jones movie.
It is fascinating to see the amazing buildings carved into the cliffs.
From the top of some of the cliffs, you can see into the Holy Land. This Wonder of the World is worth the expensive admission. One could likely spend days at Petra. I went in April, when it was fairly warm, but not nearly as hot as it could have been here.
